Ben Agger teaches sociology and humanities at the University of Texas at Arlington. His most recent books are Postponing the Postmodern, The Virtual Self, and Speeding Up Fast Capitalism. He is working on a book, with Beth Anne Shelton, entitled Fast Families, Virtual Children. He is also working on a book about the sixties, Hey, Hey LBJ: Generation and Identity among Sixties People.
