Shane Gunster
Shane Gunster teaches critical theory and media studies at the School of Communication at Simon Fraser University. He is the author of Capitalizing on Culture: Critical Theory for Cultural Studies(University of Toronto Press, 2004) as well as various articles in Cultural Critique, Television and New Media, Ethics and the Environment and Review of Education, Pedagogy and Cultural Studies. His current research interests include contemporary advertising and the political discourse of the 'new right' in Canada.
